This 1/2 day workshop will provide delegates with an understanding about the history and background of race, dealing specifically with issues concerning those in the black minority ethnic category. This is achieved by being able through the following topics:
- The Veil
- Social Evaluative Threat
- 1st Class and 2nd Class BAME
- Doxa
- Field Theory
- Double consciousness
- Benevolent Discrimination
- Homophily
- The Labyrinth
Who should attend
This course has been designed for PG DiT who are looking developing their own knowledge on racism and racial bias. Delegates will leave with the knowledge to support to create a more inclusive environment.
