We are pleased to announce the date for the 6th Basic Biomechanics in Orthopaedics (BBiOrth) course, which shall be taking place on Saturday 14th December 2013 at The Royal Society of Medicine. It is aimed at junior doctors and junior registrars, who would like to increase their understanding of Orthopaedics. The participants will learn about the key biomechanical principles that must be considered in making Orthopaedic decisions. This understanding will help to make the clinical practice in Orthopaedics more rewarding, and stimulate further enthusiasm for the specialty.

The course is well established now and has been very well received by the FYs and CTs/STs alike. The course is awarded 6 CPD by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Places are limited. The course fee is as follows:

Foundation doctors F1/F2 - £180

Core Trainees CTs/STs - £195

An Early Bird offer of £175 is available before 30th September 2013. If two people attend the course together on the same day, both can receive a further £10 discount each.
