About us

Introduction

Welcome to Health Education England’s Quality Management information pages for the south-west.

The Southwest Quality Team cover all healthcare learning environments across both the Peninsula and Severn regions.

We are responsible for implementing the quality framework, on behalf of the Postgraduate Dean, across the Peninsula and Severn regions and for ensuring compliance with other professional regulators such as the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), General Medical Council (GMC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The prime purpose of the Quality Team is to assure the quality of the learning environment, the educational governance, support for learners and supervisors, and delivery of approved curricula for healthcare education.
