Aim
To enable participants to facilitate a small group
Objectives
- Know some theory of groups, including life stages of a group
- Understand some methods for promoting good working of a small group
- Understand some strategies for dealing with dysfunctional behaviours in a group
- Learn some exercises for small groups
- Practise small group facilitation skills, including starting and finishing a group session
