Aim
To develop the knowledge and basic skills needed to be an effective Educational Supervisor of Medical Trainees

At the end of this workshop you should be able to:
- Describe the roles of the named Educational & Clinical Supervisor
- Understand the purpose of the Portfolio
- Understand the purpose of the assessments
- Understand the purpose of the ARCP & supervisor meetings
- Develop skills to undertake meaningful appraisals
- Give effective feedback
- Career management
A whole day workshop for Educational Supervisors - Please note, this is requirement seven of the Educational Supervisor minimum requirements and needs to be attended once.
