We are looking for colleagues who want to understand the human impact of being a Consultant in the NHS, managing emotions in the workplace and the challenges of leadership.

 

Content

This 1/2 day workshop will provide delegates with the tools to develop their knowledge of the challenges of leadership within their role.

• Develop an understanding of the challenges of leadership
• Understand the physiology of compassion
• Develop an understanding of Threat/Drive/Soothe Systems
• Develop techniques to support self/others
• Understand how to deal with difficult emotions
• Develop an understanding of boundaries
• Understand equanimity

Who should attend

This course has been designed for supervisors who are looking to have a better understanding of compassionate leadership. Delegates will leave with the knowledge required to actively support themselves and their fellows doctors through compassionate leadership.
