1-1 Confidential, Impartial Careers Guidance
Whether this is to discuss issues around specialty choice, preparing for interviews, or a complete career change, the process of careers guidance aims to enable you to reach well informed and realistic decisions about your career. It is an opportunity to focus on your needs and concerns and to discuss these with an impartial, qualified and experienced careers adviser. Careers guidance is not about telling you what to do with your life or providing you with an instant solution- it may be a process that requires more than one session and you should be prepared to carry out some research between careers guidance sessions.
To arrange an appointment, email Heather Samuel. Appointments can be at your place of work, or at the Severn Deanery.
Career Management Workshops
These workshops are usually arranged in conjunction with Foundation Programme Directors, Postgraduate Centre Managers or Educational Supervisors and are delivered at your place of work. If there are specific career-related topics which you would like covered in a workshop, speak to your Foundation Programme Director, Postgraduate Centre Manager or Educational Supervisor or email Heather Samuel.
